My Cursive Heart Underline Custom Nameplate, Classic Hoops, and my nose ring of course.
What does your jewelry mean to you, and what drew you to it?
For my nameplate, I was inspired by my mom. She is from Georgia where monogramming any and everything is part of the culture. Even though I grew up in California, that love for good customization is embedded in my bones. I also love to go to a coffee shop and have the barista taking my order say, “drink for Caroline, I guess…based off your necklace?”
My vintage Aquarius charm from Yeah It's Jewelry is so special to me. Not only am I annoying about my sign, but I often feel like the symbol for the water bearer is depicted as a man, whereas this vintage charm has boobs (yay!) which I love. She's everything to me!
If you could describe your jewelry style philosophy in 3 words, what would they be?
Whimsical, nostalgic, and cluttered.
What's on your jewelry wish list right now?
Toe rings! Growing up, I would spend summers at the beach with my friends. We would get matching toe rings from this little shop on Balboa Island called T's Toe Rings. I love that they’re kind of having a moment right now.
If you had to start your collection from scratch, what 3 items would you purchase first?
My nameplate necklace with a gold chain, and of course my gold hoops! No outfit feels complete without them.
